Ken started working with clay in 1990 and became a full-time artist in 2008. He works soley with porcelain where it starts on the potter’s wheel. Each piece is then transfromed into a unique work of art with texture, carving and a unique glaze process. The glaze is air-brushed on, then removed from the texured areas. This creates an incredible look that resembles something from the bottom of the ocean.
He sometimes incorporates other material like driftwood, seashells or fossils.
