What is your favorite kind of craft? At American Craft Endeavors, we consider ourselves so fortunate to be able to link patrons of our shows with some of the most gifted people in the country, people that make it difficult for us to choose favorite crafts. From sculptors and potters to jewelry makers and soap creators, the quantity and quality of the talent found at an ACE show is incomparable. This weekend, at the 7th Annual Downtown Venice Craft Festival, you can experience all of the talent for yourself — and with so much of it, you may not be able to decide what your favorite crafts are either.
Are you looking for an early Valentine’s gift? Maybe you’re searching for the perfect kitchen decor for your new place. How about trying out a delicious new homemade sauce or a decadent bath soap to introduce to your family? Whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find unique, interesting and functional pieces that will make your life easier, prettier or both. Pieces surely to become your favorites!
And what better place to find those things than in Venice? Sure, it’s been a little chilly in Florida these past couple of days, but this weekend’s forecast is looking fine for hanging out with the family and discovering some incredible talent from all over the U.S.
- Jewelry crafters such as Sharon and Bob Spry will blow you away with their versatile and exquisite jewelry collections. Whether you’re looking for a casual style or something more formal, you will find some of the most original pieces anywhere at the Downtown Venice Craft Festival.
- Many crafters, like the incredible Jeanne Palmer, create functional pieces for your home that can be both useful tools and decorative gems. You’ll find tons of original, eclectic home decor at this weekend’s show in Venice, whether you’re looking for cool kitchen and bedroom decorations or adorable pieces of furniture such as the ones created by Lori and Paul Wilkinson.
- One of the unique aspects of the Downtown Venice Craft Festival is that you can also find delicious homemade sauces, cooking oils and other delightful treats. This weekend, you can meet wonderful folks like Melissa Rioux and take home a sampling of their delectable creations.
We’ve told you a little bit about the beautiful area of Downtown Venice in the past, and we told you about the unique value in attending craft festivals with your family. We hope that we can continue to bring you and your family a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind from your week’s stresses and enjoy your time off with loved ones. Admission is free and the show is open to all ages, and it will be taking place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
