Annie-Head-Shot-BEST-3-15-11Transplanted from the big city life to the relaxed coastal life, Annie Gray found an outlet for creativity. The wreath making began with her two front doors at her home in Treasure Island, Florida. Soon after displaying wreaths made with shells and artificial sea grasses neighbors wanted to buy them. She sold out at her initial beach festival and it has grown from a little hobby done on her husbands workbench into a studio filled with grapevines, baskets, shells, starfish, ribbons and more!

Annie designs each wreath individually. Two are never alike. As the name implies…it’s all b-e-a-c-h-y. She is known to scour vintage shops, tag sales and imports for grapevine, twisted, twig and unusual wreaths that she can “beachify” (her word, not found in the dictionary :)) Baskets and wreaths without a beach theme have recently been added to her offerings.

Annie works with shells, starfish, sand dollars, life-looking artificial sea grasses, greenery, and feathers of the highest quality.

Her creations reflect her mid-west roots and her personality. They are sophisticated, original and never, ever boring.

I just found out that I cannot attend the Dunedin art festival due to a death, but I love your wreaths.
I live in St Pete and would love to see your work. Is it displayed anywhere in the area?

      Hi, Virginia:
So sorry for this very tardy reply! I just caught your message when I looked through the American Craft Endeavors site.

I live and design from my home in Treasure Island, FL. It appears you are very nearby. If there is a creation that you like on my etsy shop, just message me or telephone me (727-363-6040) and you can pick it up! Saves shipping, etc.

      Happy holidays!
