With its hundred-plus restaurants, dozens of cool shops and a wide variety of entertainment, Downtown Delray Beach has always been one of our favorite artsy spots to visit at American Craft Endeavors. We are so stoked to be heading to Florida’s very own ‘village by the sea’ for the 20th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival. Come and find out how this beachy town has kept its small town feel.
Crafters from all walks of life and parts of the U.S. will converge on beautiful Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Delray Beach for this popular craft festival. Are you looking for the perfect gift now that the holidays are around the corner? Maybe you’re in the market for a new piece for your own collection. You might be on the lookout for the perfect fall home decor, something to decorate the patio since soon we’ll be spending more time outdoors, enjoying cooler temperatures. You can find just the right thing at this weekend’s craft festival!
A Variety of Artists and Crafters
From clothing to sculptures, from jewelry to visual arts, no matter what your budget, there is something for everyone at this weekend’s craft festival. Take a piece of Delray Beach with you! You’ll meet artists like local resident, Pat Kaufman, whose vibrant watercolor paintings capture the true essence of Florida living. If you’re looking for a candle for your home or as a gift for someone special, Lonee Cataldo from Blue Flame Candles will be on hand with a wide variety of gorgeous scented and decorative candles. If nature photography is your thing, George Rhodes is one of the many artists you definitely don’t want to miss.
A Spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness
Here’s another reason why the Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival is so special: In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, American Craft Endeavors has partnered with the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa to support those in the fight against breast cancer. We’re doing this a couple of ways: one way is encouraging visitors and crafters to wear pink as a show of solidarity. The other? By engaging participating artists who create breast cancer awareness-inspired pieces to sell, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Moffitt Cancer Center. Among the artists participating in Pinktober is Raymond Dailey, who has a special piece for breast cancer awareness.
Come see what all the excitement is all about at the 20th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival, happening Oct. 18-19, 10AM-5PM, on 4th and Atlantic Avenues. Bring the family to this free event and don’t forget to wear your pink! And while you’re at it, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to learn more about our festivals.
