From our American Craft Endeavors family to yours, we hope you’re having a wonderful Thanksgiving week and that you enjoy your time spent with loved ones this holiday. As we gear up for the cooking and cleaning frenzy that precedes and follows the most delicious meal of the year, we want to take this time to reflect on the things we are thankful for this holiday season.
One of the things we are most thankful for is our crafters. Without these gifted, hardworking artisans in our ACE family, we simply wouldn’t be around. They are the reason craft lovers visit our festivals regularly, they are the reason festivals like these are so successful. We are fortunate to count on some of the best talent in the U.S. — jewelers, metal workers, quilters, painters, potters, sculptors, and so many more, and we are grateful for their participation.
Terry TenBrink, whose beautiful wood board game creations are every board game collector’s dream come true. Poker, Chinese checkers, peg solitaire … these classic games take on an elegant, incomparable face thanks to Terry’s skilled hand.
Stella Maris, whose gorgeous jewelry work is the perfect gift for those who adore and cherish handcrafted, one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces. Working with a variety of materials, including metal, glass and beadwork, Stella has been able to showcase her skill set and express her creativity.
Nercy Sapp, talented crafter of lovely accessories for every personality type. Nercy brings her colorful and meticulously crafted creations to life with great skill and imagination. Her pieces are sure to be the highlights of any fashionista’s wardrobe.
We are also thankful for our ACE staff. We work with a supremely dedicated, devoted and talented group of people, without which these festivals would not run smoothly. So much goes on behind the scenes of an ACE craft festival, and it’s important to have a team that works together to make it all happen. Our ACE family works hard year round to ensure the success of shows, so our crafters can do well and our patrons enjoy themselves. Thanks to them, we can achieve all of this.
We are of course thankful for our venues for providing a perfect forum for residents and visitors to enjoy the arts in a beautiful and relaxing outdoor setting. Whether we’re watching the sun set beyond a saltwater horizon, or feeling the breeze of a cool small-town afternoon, we at ACE are grateful for the chance to bring the best crafters in the U.S. to these amazing locations all over the state and country.
Most of all, we’re thankful for our patrons. Without the continuous support of those who attend our festivals, those who bring their friends and loved ones, those who regularly visit with us and our crafters, these shows wouldn’t be as fun. Thanks to patrons, we are able to continue in the tradition of bringing people together through the love of crafts.
Come celebrate the season of gratitude with us this weekend at the 3rd Annual Madeira Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Craft Festival, taking place this weekend, Sat. and Sun. Nov. 29-30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Downtown Madeira Beach. As always, admission is free and open to the public, so bring the entire family. Don’t forget to join our social media communities on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and follow our boards on Pinterest as well. Thank you for all you do, and see you at this weekend’s show!
