This year’s Siesta Fiesta celebration is around the corner, and this year you’ll not only get to meet painters, sculptors and photographers, but also crafters of all kinds! Whether you’re a functional ceramic collector, a handmade apparel fan or just a lover of all things uniquely crafted, Siesta Key Village is the destination for you this weekend.
This Saturday and Sunday in Sarasota from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., join American Craft Endeavors along with over 250 artists, crafters and vendors for the 37th Annual Siesta Fiesta. Handcrafted, original pieces created with love in the U.S. make the best gifts for family and friends, and wonderful keepsakes from your memorable weekend with loved ones. And with price points ranging from small to large, there’s something in the budget for everyone!
With so many crafters set to be attending this weekend, who can you check out first? It can be overwhelming if you don’t have a starting point. Here are a few crafters to check out at Siesta Fiesta:
Frank Borelli and Pam England. If you love leather, the folks from Borelli Bags by England Leather have you covered. Carefully crafted handbags of the highest quality by Frank and Pam make beautiful gifts and cherished everyday wear pieces.
Kimberly Coy. Check out Kimberly’s gorgeous handcrafted jewelry creations at the Nicole Wayne booth. Breathtaking stones in delicate necklace, earring and bracelet settings are lovely additions to any wardrobe or jewelry box.
Jose Rico. If unique glass furniture is what you’re looking for, look no further than…Unique Glass Furniture by Jose Rico. It’s all in the name, sure, but these functional glass furniture pieces are a conversation starter in any home.
Renee Martin. For bright, tropical jewelry that is at the same time sophisticated and fun, be sure to check out Renee Martin Jewelry. The vibrant colors playfully assembled with precious metals create amazing wearable art that will add excitement to any wardrobe.
Elaine Laurent. We love cigar boxes, but more than that, we love cigar box purses. Lucky for us, so does Elaine! Stop by her booth and check out her wonderfully crafted pieces that are not just limited to stuff you can take with you — she has clocks and lamps as well! A treasure for any collector.
