Shadyside Art & Craft Festival

shadysideWe are so happy to announce that this year, Howard Alan Events will be going to Shadyside in Pittsburgh not once but twice this summer. The Shadyside Art & Craft Festival on Walnut Street is one of our favorite shows of the year, so to be able to put on this art festival twice this year is a huge honor and an exciting opportunity!

Of course, we don’t have to tell you that you’ll have a great time at Shadyside. A haven for those who love to shop and dine in style, this area on Walnut Street has something for everyone in your family. From popular dining chains to quaint local joints, there are dozens of places to choose from, where you can grab some grub with the family in between store stops. Looking for a morning jolt of java? Stop by one of the coffee shops stationed in Shadyside and have a cup of joe. If a nightcap is what you’re looking for, head on over to one of the bars in the area for a drink and a good time.

Shoppers will love the variety of stores on Shadyside. Whether you’re an apparel fiend or an electronics fan, there is something for everyone in your family at Shadyside. In fact, you can count on over 80 independent and national businesses in the area. Whether you’re doing some solo retail therapy or taking the entire family for a shopping excursion, you’ll have a great time.

Year-round events top off the entertainment factor at Shadyside, and we’re proud to be bringing you two of those events this year. Our gallery-style, outdoor art festival features hundreds of artists and crafters from all over the U.S. They will be sharing their talents and selling their gorgeous pieces at price points you’re going to love. Art novices and collectors alike will find joy in the excitement of this amazing outdoor art festival in May, and it will no doubt be incentive to come back in August for our second Shadyside showing.

Here’s another incentive: Our Featured Artist Giveaway for this May debut show is from wonderful
