This weekend, as we prepare for the 13th Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival, we share with you some of the Dunedin traditional events that take place year-round.
Dunedin Highland Games and Festival. A celebration of Dunedin’s proud Scottish heritage, the Dunedin Highland Games happen in Highlander Park every spring, drawing in folks from all over Dunedin and beyond. Dunedin Orange Festival. Take your family to Edgewater Park each July for the Dunedin Orange Festival and celebrate the state’s most popular fruit! With live entertainment, food, and contests like the Miss Dunedin Orange Queen pageant, you and your family will have a ball.
Dunedin Mardi Gras Parade & Festival. Dunedin’s own spin on the popular “Fat Tuesday” festivities has been ongoing for almost 25 years, and it’s with good reason. Experience all of the excitement and fun of Mardi Gras in one of South Florida’s most charming abodes.
Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival. American Craft Endeavors brings the Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival to Main Street every summer, becoming one of the highlights of the year! What makes it so special? Crafters from all over the U.S. converging in one beautiful spot to sell their handcrafted, homemade goods while talking to patrons about their methods and crafting specialties. From $3 to $3,000, patrons can find something to fit their budget, whether it’s a piece for their personal collection or a gift for someone special. The festival is always free and open to the public, all ages welcome.
