Here comes our last week of the Colorado Summer Tour 2015. Thanks to you, our shows in Aspen, Beaver Creek and Frisco have been amazing, with artists, patrons and their families making memories they will cherish forever. Whether you’ve been on this tour with us from the very beginning, or are just joining us for our last stop, we at Howard Alan Events are grateful for your support.
We’re proud to announce the last stop on our Colorado tour, and not just because it’s a brand new spot. As part of the 7th Annual Steamboat Springs All Arts Festival, Howard Alan Events has teamed up with the Steamboat Springs Arts Council to bring you the Yampa River Fine Art Stroll. This exciting two-day outdoor fine art event will take place Saturday and Sunday Aug. 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature around 125 of the country’s most gifted artists and crafters showcasing their eclectic, original works.
Whether you’re a longtime collector or merely an arts aficionado, we promise this is the event for you. Purchase something special for yourself or someone you care about. With budget-conscious prices ranging from $25 to $30,000, there is something for everyone to take home. Art aficionados will have a unique opportunity to chat with some really awesome artists and ask about their process, inspiration and background.
The Yampa River Fine Art Stroll is as unique of an event as the people involved in it. It is part of the All Arts Festival, a celebration that spans seven years and honors the visual, music and performing arts in the area and beyond. Seven days of concerts, kids activities and seminars will culminate with the Yampa River Fine Art Stroll, where families can experience firsthand the excitement and beauty of art and craftsmanship. Admission is free, as usual, and it is open to the public.
Patrons have a chance to take home a gorgeous piece of art for FREE by entering the Featured Artist Giveaway. This time around, our Featured Artist is Dan Goad, self-taught naturalist and artist whose distinguished work has been displayed in some of the most prolific places in the wold, including the White House art collection at the Smithsonian. His delicate strokes juxtaposition well with the sharp contrasts in colors and the wonderful detail in his nature-inspired body of work. Visit his booth this weekend and enter to win “Honey Bear,” a 24″ x 18″ gorgeous watercolor piece by one of the country’s most talented artists.
