Downtown Delray Beach welcomes back its signature fall craft festival this weekend. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and just like every year, Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavors is saying “yes” to spreading awareness about this terrible disease. Participating artists are creating amazing pieces inspired by the cause with proceeds going to cancer research and visitors are encouraged to join in and wear their favorite pink gear in support. Our social media family is spreading the word about Pinktober! Be sure to tag #ACECraftFest and #ACEPinktober if you share on social media!!
This year, Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavors will partner with the the Shula Fund and the world-renowned Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida. This not-for-profit hospital and cancer research facility has made a lasting commitment to the prevention and cure of cancer, working tirelessly in the areas of patient care, research and education to advance the fight against this disease. Proceeds from the sale of breast cancer awareness inspired artwork will be donated to Moffitt.
A wide array of original crafts and unique gift items with broad appeal will be on display and for sale, with prices set to suit all budgets. The festival will take place along NEth 4th Avenue, one block north and south of Atlantic Avenue, in Downtown Delray Beach. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority. Admission is free and open to the public.
